Proper Attire A Big Factor To Successful Meeting

Jenny had one final task to complete on her to do list for the day. She had to make sure to pick up the Tae Kwon Do uniforms she had ordered last week. Getting the right martial arts uniform was very important to her as she was looking forward to participating in her first competition in the very near future. She had decided to purchase some new outfits for the competition hoping it would give her a boost of self confidence and make her feel like a true competitor. Jenny had long held to the notion that what she wore was a big part of who she was and who others saw her to be. You could say that she subscribed to the old adage that it is the clothes that make the man, or woman as the case may be. Choosing the right outfit for a specific occasion need not be difficult. Often, as in the case of the competition Jenny was participating in, the outfit requirements are predetermined. It just boils down to a matter of fit and feel. For other situations, it is important to exercise discretion in regard to what you choose to wear. For example, a number of individuals have difficulty knowing how to dress for a job interview. Without bringing up job specifics, what one is wearing when meeting someone new is often part of the first impression. Dressing for success is just an initial way to show that you are someone who is conscientious. Really, there are just a handful of key rules to follow when trying to dress for a successful interview.

1. Treat modesty as a top priority. Wearing clothing that is suggestive, be it low cut or too tight is not dressing for success. The attention you will get will not be the kind of attention you are hoping to receive. Immodesty is a distraction and may very well be an embarrassment to the other party. Why should you jeopardize potential employment for something so avoidable?

2. Do not choose overbearing colors or patterns. Loud clothing can take away the focus from the individual to what is being worn. Very bright patterns can be distracting or off putting. It is great to exercise individuality in matters of dress and style, but when interviewing for most jobs, a toned down appearance will probably be your best bet. You want to be remembered for your skills not as the girl or guy in the Hawaiian shirt.

3. Wear clothes that are clean and pressed. Others may not necessarily make a mental note that your clothing is clean and pressed but they will most certainly notice if it is not!

4. Dress in a way that is fitting to the occasion. Some job interviews call for business attire while other meetings call for no specific formality. Understand the environment prior to interviewing so that you are dressed appropriately.

5. Tasteful attire can be found in all price ranges. Dressing for success requires a little premeditation but it does not need to be expensive. Tasteful outfits can be created on even a very limited budget. Employers are unlikely to notice whether or not an interview is wearing name brand clothing or expensive accessories.

Penn State Tailgating: Critical Success Factors

Penn State Nittany Lion Tailgating: Keys to Success

Tailgating for Penn State football games has become big time over many years as Joe Paterno has built the program to the top of the ranks, and the fan following along with it. The sales of Penn State apparel has exploded along with it, and gamedays in State College are filled with Nittany Lion fans wearing a Penn State sweatshirt, Penn State t-shirt, or Penn State football jersey, usually as part of a “White Out”. Penn State tickets are highly sought, and Beaver Stadium is always filled to capacity.

Proper tailgating for Penn State games takes proper equipment and methods. To begin, you need a tailgating spot. Location is key. This all comes down to being or knowing a Nittany Lion Alumni Club member with good ranking that has a favorable parking spot. The Nittany Lion Club utilizes a variety of parking lots on campus close (and some very close) to Beaver Stadium to distribute tailgate locations, and you want to ensure you get a prime spot. Secure a Penn State football parking pass from website like eBay if necessary.

Next, make sure you are dressed for the occasion. It all depends on the weather, but an authentic Penn State jersey (either blue or white) works great. If it’s a crisp and clear fall afternoon, get your favorite Penn State sweatshirt. If it’s earlier in the season and warm, grab a Penn State t-shirt, possibly a long sleeve t-shirt if you want to not get too hot. A fleece, pullover, shell, or cool Penn State golf polo are also options. Of course the Penn State White Out has become a tradition so I always make sure to wear white. This is absolutely true in the student section.

Nittany Lion tailgates are all about food and beverage, so this should be top priority. I like getting to the spot early so that the grill can be prepared and given enough time to smoke some sort of meat for hours, maybe ribs, Boston butt, or marinated cut-up chickens. But grilling in general definitely should be be the centerpiece of your tailgate. Burgers, sausages, chicken, steaks, or fish can all make great tailgate fare. Nittany Lion country can be considered bar-b-que country, so choose a sauce that fits what you are grilling and will get your tailgate guests fulfilled. Complement your grilled meats with whatever sides and snacks you and your guests can bring.

Food is the priority, but beverages are the backbone of your tailgate. Personally, I equate football tailgating with “brown water”, aka bourbon. There’s nothing like a good Kentucky bourbon or Tennessee whiskey to get you prepared for the game. However, this is a personal thing, and you need to have a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to satisfy your guests (or have them BYOB).

Other important aspects of your tailgate: How are people going to locate your spot? Get a tall Penn State Flag , customize it some and hang it high. Also, accessorize your Nittany Lion tailgate out with Penn State chairs, coolers, and blankets. Everyone should be drinking out of Nittany Lion cups and mugs too.

While the Nittany Lion matchup is definitely the most important happening of the day, there will be lots of other important college football on. Patrons at your tailgate are going to want to see other games (or they?ll go somewhere else). Do what other great tailgaters do and get a portable satellite dish you attach to a receiver and TVs you can quickly scramble to set up in the morning. A blow up Penn State couch right in front is also a nice touch.

To me, the sign of a great tailgate is one that everyone wants to go back to after the game.

Learn About Mens Running Shoes

When you are going to buy mens jogging shoes, the very last thing that you need to do is to buy them quickly and without a lot of thought. If you purchase mens shoes this way, you’re going to find that the shoes that you buy may not fit your feet well. Here are some tips that you should consider when buying running shoes for a person.

The Foot Knows

If you are going to buy some mens running shoes, then you have got to look at the contours of your foot. The only way that you can do this is to wet each of your feet and then step on something to make an impression, like cardboard or paper. If there’s a massive band that connects the ball of your foot and heal, your arches are ordinary and you don’t need much technology in your shoe. If the band is narrow, then you are something known as under-pronated and you’re going to want cushioning. If the outline is of the complete foot, then your arches are low and you need more support.

Get a Midsole

This is the most significant thing when you’re choosing mens jogging shoes. You need to look for PU to provide the maximum support or EVA for the maximum cushioning. PU shoes are going to have a little less flexibility and the EVA might compress as they’re used.

Outsoles and Heels
Mens Running Shoes

The mens trainers should have flex ridges and split heels so that the foot moves correctly. In the outsoles. The heel needs to fit snugly and your foot shouldnot be moving around within the shoe. If you want stability, then the heel counter should be carbon. If you want cushioning, then the heel counter should be blown rubber.

Lasts and Medial Posts Mens Running Shoes

If a person has ordinary arches, they donot need mens jogging shoes that have medial posts, and they can select shoes that have semi-curved or straight lasts. Men with over-pronate feet need to have medial posts that arenot reducing flexibility and lasts that are curved or semi-curved. Runners that are under-pronate should have medial support and should have shoes that have lasts that are curved or semi-curved.

Pick the Type that is’s Right

When you are buying mens shoes, pay attention to the way your foot is made. If your arches are ordinary, then the shoes should just be cushioned. If you have low arches, then jogging shoes with motion control are mandatory so that you are avoiding injury. Runners that are over-pronate need to choose jogging shoes that are a mix of good support and cushioning.

It’s easy to see there’s a lot more to buying trainers than just going out and trying them on. You should keep these ideas in mind when you’re buying them so that you have shoes that are comfortable and that are protecting your feet when you are running in them. Avoid injury while running starts with the trainers that you are wearing.

It only takes a few essential tips to become a first-rate dribbler like being in contact with the ball. Kids soccer drills coach the kids to use the surface of their foot. It is the front side of their instep that kids use very frequently when they dribble the ball at a great speed.

But make sure that the kids have mastered the art of using both inside and outside of their feet in becoming great dribblers.
