sport fishing has been an interesting past time throughout the years. It has been a way of bringing family in concert to spend time on a Sunday for a very long time. The reason for this is that sport fishing is a recreational activity that cracks peace and quiet at the same time giving agitation and laughter. It gives folks time to talk about their lives and reminisce about the past while producing lasting bonds through the agitation when a tug is felt on a line.

While some families may use the fish as food, quite a few simply fish as diversion, letting the fish back into the water after having taken them. This recreational sport fishing is also practiced as a sport. Sport sport fishing is usually a competition between mortals to catch the biggest fish or the largest mass of fish in a given time. The fish may be practiced as food or not. The reason behind sport fishing, however, is not for food. It is merely for pleasure. In earlier times, sport fishermen, even if they did not use the fish as food, killed them yet. The fish were practiced to weigh their total catch or preserved as trophies. Fresh water fish tend to be smaller than salt water fish which usually means they are easier to tackle. sport fishing uses many techniques other than the usual rod. Sport fishermen may use spears for spear sport fishing, which needs more talent, or netting or a technique called bow sport fishing. This uses a cross bow to catch fish. In spear sport fishing the fish are killed straightaway and cannot be discharged back into the water.
